Willard Phillips
I'm 83 years old and look and feel every year of it. I served in the Marines during the Korean War, (9 service medals and 4 battle stars) and then spent 16 years working as a mechanical engineer on construction projects (3 1/2 years in Kuwait, 6 months in Mexico)and in the oil field. In 1972 I gave up engineering and became a full time sculptor. Physical limitations have since made me give up sculpting, and now I express myself with paint. In 1979 I became enthralled with an Apple computer and wrote a best selling game that was published by Penguin (Expedition Amazon). 'Werewolf!', another game, was self-published in the US and Japan, and a series of utilties titled 'K.I.S.S.' finished my programing hobby. 14 years ago I had a heart attack and wound up with conjestive heart failure. Peripheral Neuropathy and recent Open Heart surgery confine me to a wheel chair and limit my activities to painting.
